The Club continues to fully support and follow the government’s guidelines relating to COVID-19, including ensuring the safety and well-being of our players, coaches and staff. We have outlined the following for everyone’s guidance and compliance.
SQUASH SAFETY PROTOCOLS
Operating Hours: 6am – 10pm
BEFORE THE DRILLS
-
Clean and sanitize your equipment and other playing gear (i.e., racquets, grips, water bottles, wrist and headbands, caps, etc).
-
Avoid touching any equipment, the benches, the Sports coordinator’s countertop and other items within the facility unnecessarily.
-
Bring your own laundry bag or plastic bag for used shirts, shorts, towels, face masks
-
and other clothing items. Do not leave these items exposed on the courts, seats and benches.
-
Please wait for the coordinator’s signal to take your designated courts. All courts are being cleaned and sanitized after every use.
-
Bring your own squash racquet. Borrowing of racquets and other equipment is highly discouraged.
-
Players prior to entering the court must designate one person to touch the ball and door.
DURING PRACTICE DRILLS
-
Face mask may be lowered to chin level during the game but must be in visible sight. It has to be worn once the game is over.
-
Follow designated court assignments at all times with a maximum of one-hour play.
-
Only two persons in the group, and must register with the Sports Coordinator prior to play.
-
Practice drills allowed are side by side, as well as front and back hitting with drills, ensuring 6ft distance is maintained.
-
Avoid touching your face after handling a ball, racquet or other equipment.
AFTER THE DRILLS
-
Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water after the match.
-
You are kindly requested to leave the courts immediately so our staff can clean and sanitize the court, and to avoid crowding.
-
No loitering after your squash workout.
