Softball Batting Cage – Safety Protocols

We developed the following protocols and guidelines for the health and well-being of our players, coaches and staff while safely enjoying our softball batting cage.


SOFTBALL BATTING CAGE SAFETY PROTOCOLS

Operating Hours: 6am – 10pm

BEFORE THE DRILLS

  1. Clean and sanitize your equipment and other playing gear (i.e., bats, water bottles, caps, etc).

  2. Avoid touching any equipment, the benches, the Sports coordinator’s countertop and other items within the facility unnecessarily.

  3. Bring your own laundry bag or plastic bag for used shirts, shorts, towels, face masks and other clothing items. Do not leave these items exposed on the seats and benches.

  4. Bring your own bat. Borrowing of bats and other equipment is highly discouraged.

DURING THE DRILLS

  1. Mandatory wearing of face mask is strictly implemented. Face masks shall be properly worn at all times in and around the batting cages.

  2. The pitching machine/s will be manned exclusively by Manila Polo Club personnel.

  3. The batting cage and pitching machine is exclusively for practice drills, with no physical contact allowed at any time.

  4. Minimum of one (1) meter at all times while inside the cage.

  5. Maximum of one (1) batter per cage is allowed with one coach/pitcher permitted inside the cage area at any time.

  6. Other than the batter/s, no one else is allowed in the waiting area behind the batting cage entrance.

  7. Avoid touching your face after handling equipment. All equipment should be sanitized before and after each session.

AFTER THE DRILLS

  1. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water after the match.

  2. You are kindly requested to leave the cage immediately so our staff can clean and sanitize it for the next slot, and to avoid crowding.

  3. No loitering after your softball game.

Please swipe your card at the gate every time you enter and exit the Club. Your membership card will also be swiped in the Polo Pass system when you present it to pay at the sports facilities, food and beverage, and other outlets.
