Playground Reopening Update

1 June 2022

As previously announced, the Children’s Playground will be open beginning Sunday, 5 June 2022. However, we are deferring the mural painting to give way to another creative activity for children aged 4 to 12 years old.

Be Part of the Mural Creation

Submit your children’s art based on our theme – garden flora and fauna – and get a chance for it to be featured in the mural that will be painted on the fence of the Children’s Playground.
 
How to be included:

• Create design elements that best represent our theme, e.g., trees, plants, butterflies, ladybugs, birds, dogs, cats, etc. 
• Submit in A4 size (8.3 inches x 11.7 inches), in portrait or landscape format
• Medium: Watercolor, acrylic or oil-based paint, colored pencils, crayon, etc. 
• Email artwork to: mails@manilapolo.com.ph
• Last day of submission of artworks: 15 June 2022
• A selection committee that includes the mural artist will choose ten (10) top artworks to be included in the mural design
• The Club will directly notify those whose artworks will be included in the mural

• The mural artist will set the mural drawing on the fence of the Children’s Playground prior to the day of the event
• Children aged 4 to 12 years old may participate in painting colors to the mural drawing on a date that will be announced later
• Children who wish to participate in painting colors to the mural must be pre-registered using this link
• The mural artist and a team of other artists will assist the kids during the mural painting
• Protective gear, paints and brushes will be provided for the kids during the activity
• Parents are highly encouraged to be with young children to supervise during the activity
