The clubhouse, the kitchen and the service buildings were made of native materials.
The pagoda-like water tower was the distinctive feature of the Club for years until, for safety reasons, it had to be dismantled.

The new Manila Polo Club was successfully inaugurated on July 4, 1949. Among the guests were (from left) Frank Lidell, John Carmichael, Thomas Kenneth and J.A. Thomas.
