Preparations are now underway for the upcoming Annual General Membership Meeting (AGM) set for 23 August 2021, for which we encourage Members to attend virtually.
You will be electing four directors this year so have a look at the Know Your Candidates (KYC) via this link, announcing our nominees for the upcoming elections also on 23 August. To either assign a proxy or to register to attend the online AGM, please accomplish the form on this link. Alternatively, you may enter this Zoom room, open daily from 8am to 6pm until 20 August 2021, if you wish to be assisted by a Member Assistant in accomplishing the form.
Also, we recently welcomed Cibo di Margi Signature Caterer (Cibo di M) as our new F&B concessionaire for the Club’s F&B outlets: East Terrace, Sports Lounge and the Cogons. Hizon’s Catering will continue when our banquet catering services resume. Judging by the favorable comments we received since announcing the good news on 18 July, you are excited about this collaboration. We are, too!
Unfortunately, we closed our seating areas for dining, following the government’s latest announcement placing the NCR under ECQ from 6-20 Aug. We remain open to serve you for takeaway and delivery services.
You may have seen our Safety Seal certificates around the Club, awarded to us by the DILG/Makati LGU, as a testament to our commitment to safety. You can rest assured that we provide you with only the best and safest dining and recreational experience, and our employees with a healthy working environment at the Club.
Speaking of our commitment to safety and maintaining healthy business operations, 37% of our employees are now fully vaccinated with 7% now on their first dose, and the rest, along with other non-MPC personnel who continue to provide services to our Members, will be inoculated in the coming weeks with the AstraZeneca vaccines that the Club purchased for employees and service personnel.
As always, we appreciate your loyalty and support over the past fiscal year and we thank you for your patience and understanding as we adapt to necessary yet crucial changes in response to the pandemic.
