Dear Members,
It has been a joy to see our Members making the most of our reopened and newly renovated facilities. The lifting of our limited guest policy increased our foot traffic at the Club, and it is a real delight to see our Members come with their families and friends and enjoy our food outlets, sports and other facilities.
Our food and beverage offerings bring in regulars and new faces into our F&B outlets. On a clear night, our Friday Grill Night at the Cogons draw in families, and our dim sum offerings on weekends get more popular each week. Due to popular demand, we are also looking at hosting more Willow Root’s Friday Acoustic Night sessions. Soon, Vans Kitchen opens at the Golf Driving Range, serving delicious Hainanese chicken rice, a variety of noodle soups and other favorite Hong Kong-style dishes.
Our two-month Multi-sports Summer Camp, a first since the pandemic, has been a success and introduced gymnastics to the Club, which is now offered every Monday , Wednesday, and Friday at the Old Gym. The Archery Tournament that followed was also well-participated, and more Members are starting to get hooked on pickle ball at the Badminton Courts, which will have newly installed ventilation system by the end of July.
Speaking of upgrades, improving our amenities remains to be a priority of the Club; our Golf Driving Range which was recently rehabilitated is now operational, and is ready to accommodate you from 6:00 AM – 10:00 PM. Similarly, the 25-meter swimming pool now boasts of upgraded pumps and filtration system following its two-week closure.
The Club, in partnership with Repertory Philippines, hosted a month-long musical theater workshop from 13 June to 8 July. Children and adults who participated had their first taste of becoming a thespians following the workshop as they took the centerstage during their recital at the Onstage Theatre of Greenbelt One.
Lastly, the Main Lounge now holds more Members week on week for our Sunday Masses, and the visitors of our library grows every month as it resumed operations, proving to be a reliable solace for our resident bookworms once again.
It has been a busy period, but we have made it through half of the year with overwhelming positive feedback from our Members and guests. We sincerely thank you for your continued support in rebuilding the community, one effort at a time. Thus, we look forward to creating more wonderful memories with you as the new normal persists, brighter and livelier than ever.
Truly yours,
NOEL B. BARRAMEDA
