Danspace Ballet School students recently completed their Ballet Conservatoire Examinations on 7 April 2024 at the Dojo Gym. The examiner, Ms. Christine Walsh, AM, who is the author of the Ballet Conservatoire syllabus, evaluated 25 students. Nine students received a grade of Distinction, which is 90% and above.
The students who received Distinction are as follows:
– Primary: Karina Go Bacungan, Anna Lucille Carla L. Solon
– Preparatory LV 1: Isabella Marie L. Mapa, Katia Miren T. Alfonso, Annika Gorriceta
– Level 2: Eliana Ma Jacinta Gallardo Bitong
– Level 3: Lucia Paz B. Araneta, Megan Elizabeth S. Wang, Emilia Abigail Siy Cheung.
The Ballet Conservatoire is the training syllabus used by Danspace and is based on the Russian (Vaganova) method of classical ballet technique. Certified teachers Maritoni Rufino Tordesillas, ACBE and Jiny Jane Ferrer prepared the students for their exams. Congratulations girls!
