Our Library’s Book Spotlight for this week is “Hello, Universe”, winner of 2018 Newbery Medal, written by Filipino-American author Erin Entrada Kelly.
“Hello, Universe” is an astonishing tale that celebrates bravery, being different, and finding your inner ‘heroic’ character. This novel for middle grade readers is a funny and poignant neighborhood story told from the perspective of middle school students as one of them becomes trapped in a well.
