Laughter and excitement filled the air at the East Terrace last 17 April 2022 as we held our biggest face-to face event since 2020. With the theme “Carnival Majestique”, our Easter Sunday Bash signaled a rush of hope and joy back into the Club, as the smiling faces of children, parents and staff illuminated the Zobel Field. The family affair sparked a new beginning for the Club, with renewed energy and refreshed spirits shining through in a morning of colorful outfits, thrilling entertainment and a grand nostalgic homecoming.
The Easter Sunday celebration housed a whopping 374 attendees. From 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM, families blissfully roamed the Zobel Field, and were delighted by the fun that six game booths, nine food concessionaires and even a kiddie spa brought about. It was the perfect way to relax and unwind with each other after a whole week of personal plans and agendas. Our program then began with an impressive parade-contest. One-by-one, our kids flashed their brightest smiles as they walked confidently, and modeled their festive DIY ensembles.

While we spent two whole years longing to see the light at the end of the tunnel, we, at MPC, sparingly opened up parts of the Club for Members to come home to. It had been heartwarming to see our hallways show signs of life once again, as food-lovers were served world-class meals in new venues.
After months of silence, there had been movement on our floorboards when athletes came back to fulfill their regimens in newly renovated amenities. This time around, we see hope in full glory while our Members and their families reunite in their second home, and share new memories together.
Truly, we look back at Carnivale Majestique as a symbol for brighter days ahead and a positive future for all of us here as one MPC family.
It had also been a while since children had the freedom to attend birthday parties, so we thought it was best to showcase a magic and balloon show.
How could we possibly have an Easter celebration without an Easter Egg Hunt? As per tradition here at MPC, we made sure to host a unique egg hunt despite the chance of rain. Children were expected to collect as many eggs as they could, but among these eggs were two golden eggs that promised the lucky participants very special prizes at the end.
To be able to facilitate a level playing field, we had a section for 2-6 year-olds and another for 7-11 year-olds. It was a rousing and nostalgic feeling to see our kids run freely and have their fair share of healthy competition, which they were robbed of during the two years in isolation. The special golden eggs were hidden in inconspicuous locations to give our participants a challenge of a lifetime!
