From the General Manager

4 May 2022

Dear Members,

The Club culminated Holy Week 2022 with an exciting Easter bash. We came together as one MPC family once again in our first face-to-face event in more than two years. While we all endured battles of uncertainty over the course of the pandemic, we found that it was only fitting that we welcome you all back to the Club in a safe and secure outdoor family affair. How refreshing it was to host this homecoming for all Members, families, and staff for a morning of food, games, booths, performances, and fun.

In line with new beginnings, our entire team has been persistent with backend work to make sure the reopening of outlets go smoothly.  The Main Kitchen is again in operation with a fresh take on your favorite meals and more as they boast an expanded menu, and earlier opening for breakfast service.  In addition, the Sports Cafe has already made its comeback as a respite for diners who would like to dodge the summer heat with its well-ventilated and cozy space.

As the redevelopment continues, the entire MPC staff remains steadfast in our promise to update various parts of the Club through renovations, both major and minor, which offer a new look to some of our amenities without compromising traditions. Hence, you can trust that we will maintain a balance of top-notch, modern standards, with the old charm of the Club that our Members have grown to love over the years.  Refurbishments are ongoing for the golf driving range and the jogging trail. The former will soon boast higher poles at 25 meters in height as well as a fresh net covering the area. As for the jogging trail, renovations have been running smoothly in a timely manner to facilitate upgrades and at the same time address the flooding issue by improving the drainage systems.

This time around, all Members may visit the Club with the 1:5 ratio, while keeping all social distancing and hygiene protocols in mind. As the Club remains to be a place of comfort and solitude for Members, we only see hope and brighter days ahead as one happy MPC family. The new normal has been nothing short of good to us, so it is with open arms that we welcome all members and their families back to their second home again with more community events, updated facilities and chances to make new memories with each other.

Truly yours,

NOEL B. BARRAMEDA
General Manager
