Fang-tastic Halloween Fun!

Cheers to the winners of our special Halloween virtual competitions on Minecraft!

There are ghosts in the virtual world, too, as our endlessly enthusiastic and creative children discovered, when they played our two special Minecraft games for Halloween. Our young gamers were encouraged to create an alternate spooky MPC universe, filling it with ghosts and spirits based on the theme, “Minecraft: Build a Fang-tastic World”.

We challenged Dependents and their friends to reimagine a spooky MPC where Members and Dependents alike can explore virtually. In the end, we got 15 entries from our creative teams.

After their creations were reviewed by our esteemed judges — Mr Santino Manahan and Mr Simon Villalon — we arrived at the following top three tournament winners, plus one team who received a special prize:

Champion: ChimkenNuggie25 (Andres and Anya Albano)
First Runer-Up: The Ghastly Ghoul (Javier Parpan)
Second Runner-Up: Genshin Addicts (Georgina Chua, Katerina del Rosario and Bella Laccay )

Special Prize Winner: Potato Kebab Hamburbur (Marcial Colayco and Kevin Tee )

On Halloween, 50 kids explored the Fang-tastic World of MPC for our virtual scavenger hunt. The kids raced around the spooky virtual field and collected as many coins as they could find within a 30-minute period, and the hunters with the most coins won. We divided the hunt into three heats for our 4-6, 7-9 and 10-12 hunters.

Winners took home cash prizes from the Club plus gift packs from our sponsors: Del Monte Philippines, Pascual Laboratories, Coca-Cola Philippines Perfetti Van Melle, Nestle Philippines and Oishi. All build competition players and virtual scavenger hunt participants also received loot bags from the Membership Office, courtesy of our sponsors.
