Our optimism is coupled with thankfulness that more and more people are getting vaccinated, our Members and staff included, and that our facilities and outlets are reopening and seeing an increase in usage. Reopening feels like a true celebration.
As the rainy season comes and MPC inches its way to reopening most of its facilities, it is heartening to see Members and their families coming back to the Club — bringing with them warmth and positivity that has been greatly missed. If you have been away from the Club, cooped up in your homes for months, you will find that the East Terrace looks rather inviting. It has been transformed into one of the most popular dining spots in the Club, elevating al fresco dining to a whole new level, offering new experiences to Members and their families, making intimate celebrations more festive and enticing.

We continue to welcome Members and guests with enhanced sanitation procedures and strict health and safety protocols, and unique dining experiences for the whole family. This month, we are going full blast with Private Dining by Cibo di Marghi Signature Caterer for Father’s Day weekend, 19-21 June, at the East Terrace. As an added treat, we are introducing a Father’s Day Giveaway and reward Dads with Crimson Resort & Spa, Boracay stays and bottles of Johnnie Walker Blue Label.
Just recently, we witnessed the return of Raclette Night, a sold-out event in less than five days since it was announced. Everyone seems glad to be back, if not yet rubbing elbows, they are, at least, communing with one another from a safe distance.
Our sports facilities are experiencing some action, too. Tennis courts and golf driving range (GDR) lanes are almost fully booked every day; swimming pools are buzzing especially in the afternoons; badminton courts and the jogging track are slowly picking up in terms of usage.
This may be a slow walk toward normalcy but the Club, headed by the Board of Directors, its various Committees and the Management team, have gone a few steps further to make you, our dear Members, feel comfortable, safe and relaxed always.
